Elon Announces Assistant Softball Coach

Elon University head softball coach Patti Raduenz announced today the addition of Stacey Lange to her staff.

Lange spent her playing years at the University of Virginia as a pitcher where she was selected to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Team and tabbed as team MVP. She is among the top five UVA career leaders for wins, strikeouts, shutouts, innings pitched, complete games and saves. Lange was also selected to the ACC 50th Anniversary All-Star Softball Team, recognizing her as one of the top 50 players in ACC history. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language in May 2000.

Lange has coaching experience on many different levels. Most recently, she was coaching at Conestoga High School where she served as an assistant coach and pitching coach. She was directly responsible for instruction to pitchers and catchers. Lange also worked at The Next Level as a pitching coach and softball clinician. She provided private pitching lessons and group clinics. She taught a 25-week softball pitching program to middle school and high school players.
