SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel forward Jasiah Pack and Tennessee Tech goalkeeper Laila McNamee have been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer offensive and defensive players of the week, respectively, for all competition from Oct. 6-12.

Pack recorded a hat trick in The Citadel’s 4-1 comeback win at Western Carolina on Oct. 11. The native of Dalzell, South Carolina, scored all of her goals in the final six minutes of the contest, logging her first score in the 84th minute to put the team ahead, 2-1. The senior’s second goal came three minutes later off a feed from teammate Samantha Grantham, before the final score came with 31 seconds left in the contest. Pack currently leads the league in points (25) and goals (10).

McNamee played all 90 minutes inside the net as Tennessee Tech defeated Mercer, 1-0, on Oct. 9. The sophomore from Germantown, Tennessee, finished with seven saves in the contest, logging her fourth shutout of the season in the process. McNamee is tied for second in the league in shutouts.
