SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Chattanooga’s Gianna Corbitt has been named the Southern Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played on Dec. 16-22.
Corbitt finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting 9-of-18 from the field and 4-of-10 from three-point range in the Mocs’ victory over Western Kentucky on Dec. 19.
In 34 minutes of play during the contest, the sophomore forward also added one assist, one steal, and a block.
The New Hope, Alabama, native enters the holiday season as the league’s leader in points per game (16.0) and three-point percentage (52.1).
This is Corbitt’s third weekly honor this season.
Chattanooga will close out the 2025 calendar year hosting Southern Wesleyan on Dec. 30.
