SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Mercer's Mikayla Dubnik has been selected as the Southern Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for all competition from April 3 – April 9. The selection is made by the league office.
 
Dubnik carded a 1-under-par 215 (71-76-68) en route to winning the Brickyard Collegiate, which wrapped play on Tuesday, three shots ahead of the runner-up Grace Sinclair of UAB. The junior's performance in the final round was the lowest-scoring round of any golfer during the two-day event as she completed the round with just one bogey and carded a 33 on the back nine. Dubnik led the field in par-5 scoring (4.67) and was tied for second in birdies (10) during the 54-hole tournament.

The Murrayville, Georgia, native led the Bears to their second win of the spring, while claiming her second individual championship of the year. Her first victory came in last February's Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.   

Mercer will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina, on April 14-16, for the SoCon Women's Golf Championship.
