SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the second time in four weeks and the fourth time this season, Furman’s Anna Morgan has been selected as the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for all competition from Feb. 21-27. The selection is made by the league office.
 
Morgan finished third at the 2024 Chevron Classic with an 11-under par 205, just one shot behind co-champions Isabel Sy (-12) of Illinois and Nicha Kanpai (-12) of Maryland. A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Morgan birdied No. 7 during the final round, then posted six consecutive birdies from No. 9 to No. 14, solidifying her spot among the tournament's top three. She also tallied eight birdies in the first round and finished with a final-round 4-under 68.   
 
Furman will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, March 4-5, to co-host The Show at Spanish Trail.
