SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the second consecutive week, Campbell’s Anthony Molton has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competition from Jan. 10-16. The selection is made by the league office.

Molton, who has opened the month of January by winning eight consecutive bouts, is ranked 26th in the nation by Intermat.
His week was highlighted by a dominant 25-7 technical fall victory over 15th-ranked Jack Maida of American University in 5:59. That win set the tone for Campbell in the Chippewa Challenge, with the Fighting Camels claiming wins over American, Central Michigan, and CSU Bakersfield. Molton also garnered wins against CMU's Sean Spidle (TB-1, 3-1) and CSUB's Richard Castro-Sandoval (Dec. 6-3).

The Fighting Camels will return to the mat on Sunday (Jan. 21), when the team squares off against Davidson in the Southern Conference opener for both squads.
