CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team has been invited to play in the inaugural Universal Tennis National Invitation Tournament Championships on May 18-20 in Peachtree City, Georgia.
 
Eight men's and eight women's programs have been invited to compete in NIT Championships, which will be aired on Amazon Prime Video.
 
The Bulldogs will face the No. 2 seed University of Denver in the first round.
 
The eight men's programs are The Citadel, Vanderbilt, Denver, Liberty, Army, UC Davis, UC San Diego and Reinhardt.
 
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back after suffering a first-round loss in the SoCon Men’s Tennis Championship against ETSU.
