SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford junior Alexis Lopez has been named the Southern Conference women’s tennis player of the week for all matches played from March 7-13, the conference announced on Tuesday. The award is selected by the league office.
Lopez won her singles and doubles matches as the Bulldogs downed former SoCon foe College of Charleston on the road Thursday, 4-3.
