SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Campbell’s Justin Rivera has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competition from Dec. 13-19. The selection is made by the league office.

Rivera went 3-0 at Tuesday’s Fighting Camel Duals that included North Dakota State, No. 19 Stanford and Purdue. The Orlando, Florida, native earned Campbell's best win on the mat, defeating top-10 opponent Kellyn March (#9) of NDSU in a 4-1 decision. Rivera also earned a 7-2 decision over Dawson Sihavong from Stanford, and an 8-5 Sudden Victory win over Purdue's Marcos Polanco.

Following a 16-day layoff over the holidays, the Camels will get back in action at the Franklin and Marshall Open on Jan. 5.
