SPARTANBURG, S.C. – VMI’s Patrick Jordon has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competition from Dec. 6-12. The selection is made by the league office.
 
Jordon finished fourth in his weight class at 141 last Saturday at the Cleveland State Open, winning three matches by major decision. He also won his bout in a dual match with Kent State on Friday, pinning his opponent in just 26 seconds. For the year, Jordon is 12-6 with 11 of those victories resulting in extra points, including six pins.
 
Following a nearly three-week layoff, VMI will compete at the Soldier Salute, Dec. 29-30, in Coralville, Iowa.
