SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Three Southern Conference staff members have been promoted to associate commissioners, SoCon Commissioner Jim Schaus announced Friday.
 
Assistant commissioners Sean Diminick (Championships), Paul Lollis (Video Productions) and Phil Perry (Media Relations) have all been elevated to associate commissioners.
 
Diminick is entering his second season at the SoCon in 2022-23. He is responsible for the management and coordination of SoCon championship tournaments and the league’s awards and merchandising efforts. Diminick also oversees the production of championship event signage, hospitality, hiring of officials and student-athlete gifts.
 
Lollis, entering his ninth year at the league office, is directly responsible for coordination of all Southern Conference video productions for website use, conference championships and special events. He also functions as a liaison and support person for institutional efforts to improve and upgrade their production and video-streaming capabilities. Lollis, who began his tenure at the SoCon in 2014, previously served as the Director of Video Productions before he was promoted to assistant commissioner in 2018.
 
Perry, who is entering his 11^th year at the SoCon, oversees the league’s media relations department, with specific media relations responsibilities for football, men’s basketball, track and field and cross country and tennis. He also administers the league’s academic awards. Perry started at the SoCon in 2012 as the Assistant Director of Media Relations before assuming leadership of the department and being promoted to assistant commissioner in 2017.
