GREENVILLE, S.C. – Former Furman standout running back Devin Wynn ‘22 has been signed by the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL), it has been announced.
 
Wynn, a 6-foot, 211-pound performer, ran for 2,960 yards and 31 touchdowns during his Paladin career to rank seventh in program history in both categories. A two-time All-Southern Conference selection, he ran for a career high 1,182 yards and 14 touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore in 2019, helping Furman to a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoff appearance.
 
His 2019 campaign featured a career best 217-yard, two-touchdown rushing performance in a 58-14 win over Samford. The Greensboro, Georgia, product ran for 204 yards and a pair of scores last fall in a 42-20 triumph over Wofford, but a groin injury limited his playing time over the last half of the season.
 
Wynn is the 16th Paladin to join the CFL. Former Paladin standout wide receiver Brian Bratton played six years (2007-12) with Montreal and was a member of the Alouettes’ 2009 and 2010 Grey Cup Championship teams.
