SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman outdoor track and field athlete Megan Marvin has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from April 27 to May 3. The selection, Marvin’s fifth of the academic year, is made by the conference office.

Marvin won both the 800-meter and 1,500-meter races at the SoCon Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, on Sunday, May 1, posting a time of 2:07.66 in the 800m to break the former facility record by almost a full second and claim her second consecutive SoCon title in the event.
