GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team standouts Makenna Matthijs and Delaney Cumbie were named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District®
3 first team selections last Thursday as announced by the organization.
District 3 comprises all the Division I softball programs in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early June.
