NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The second round of the 2022 Southern Conference Women’s Golf Championship, which was suspended due to darkness Sunday evening, will not be completed Monday as planned due to inclement weather in the North Myrtle Beach area. Teams that did not finish their second rounds Sunday will return to the course at 8 a.m. Tuesday to complete them. The third round will also take place Tuesday.
Furman leads Mercer by two strokes and the Paladins’ Sophia Burnett holds the individual lead by two strokes at the point of suspension. The tournament is being played at Barefoot Landing Resort’s par-72, 6,004-yard Dye Course.
