SPARTANBURG, S.C. – A pair of Southern Conference men’s lacrosse players were added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List presented by AXIA Time, for which the Tewaaraton Foundation
announced its second round of additions Friday.
High Point attackman Brayden Mayea and Jacksonville attack Jacob Greiner were added to the list Friday, joining High Point’s Asher Nolting and Richmond’s Ryan Lanchbury, who were on the
initial watch list, and Jacksonville’s Max Waldbaum, who was included in the first round of additions.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are comprised of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.
The initial 2022 Tewaaraton Watch Lists and first round of additions, both presented by AXIA Time, were announced Feb. 10 and March 10. On April 21, the field will be narrowed to 25 men’s and 25 women’s nominees, which can be players on the watch lists or players not on the watch lists, effectively allowing for a third round of additions.
