Paris, McMillan finalists for national coaching awards

Both finalists for Hugh Durham Award, Paris finalist for Ben Jobe Award

BOSTON – A pair of Southern Conference coaches are finalists for national awards administered by CollegeInsider.com. Chattanooga’s Lamont Paris and Samford’s Bucky McMillan are finalists for the Hugh Durham Award and Paris is a finalist for the Ben Jobe Award.

The Hugh Durham Award, presented annually to the top Division I mid-major coach in college basketball, is named after a coach who built winning programs at three different universities.

The Ben Jobe Award, which is presented annually to the top Division I minority coach, is named in honor of one of the finest men to ever college basketball.
