SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford women’s basketball forward Lilly Hatton has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6. The selection is made by the conference office.
 
Hatton helped the Terriers to a 3-0 week, with wins over Davidson on Nov. 30, App State on Saturday and Emory & Henry on Monday.
 
Returning from a two-game absence against the Wildcats, Hatton scored 11 points and pulled down two rebounds, adding a pair of steals. The Georgetown, Indiana, senior had 13 points and six boards against the Mountaineers, also contributing three blocked shots, a season high for a Wofford player. She reached 500 career rebounds in the contest, becoming the 23^rd Terrier to reach that plateau.
 
Hatton closed her week with a season-best and game-high 23-point effort against the Wasps on Monday, also grabbing four rebounds and recording an assist and a block.
 
For the week, Hatton averaged 15.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. She shot 53.1 percent from the floor (17-for-32) and was 50 percent from 3-point range (6-for-12) and perfect at the free-throw line (7-for-7).
 
A biology major, Hatton carries a 4.0 GPA.
 
Wofford (7-2) visits No. 8 North Carolina on Sunday at 1 p.m.
