Bulldog women fall to No. 15 NC State

The Citadel returns to action against Navy on Sunday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's rifle team took on No. 15 NC State on Friday morning inside the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The Bulldogs fell, 4694-4448, to the Wolfpack.
 
Emma McCorkle was the top finisher for the Bulldogs, finishing sixth with an aggregate total of 1119.
 
Smallbore Results
  • The Bulldogs shot a team score of 2173 in smallbore.
  • Deanna Douglass was the top finished with a score of 552.
  • Emma McCorkle was right behind Douglass with a score of 550.
  • Demi Perez was the third-best score for the Bulldogs with a 538.
 
Air Rifle Results
  • The Bulldogs finished with a team score of 2275.
  • Michaela Martin was the top finisher, placing seventh with a score of 571.
  • McCorkle and Perez each finished with a score of 569.
  • Douglass rounded out the Top 10 with a score of 566.
