SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Five regular-season Southern Conference men’s basketball games will air on CBS Sports Network this season.
 
“Our partnership with CBS Sports Network has allowed us to increase our total national linear television exposure and in turn assist in building our national success as a top-12-rated conference and enhance our brand,” SoCon Commissioner Jim Schaus said.
 
The first game in the package will be Saturday, Jan. 28, when Samford visits Wofford at 2 p.m. Those squads split a pair of regular-season meetings last season, each winning at home. The squads tied for third in the league at 10-8 in SoCon play, with Samford going 21-11 overall and Wofford finishing 19-13.
 
Wofford will be featured again on Saturday, Feb. 4, when it takes on rival Furman at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. That contest will take place at 6 p.m., four hours later than the previously announced time. The Paladins finished second in the league at 22-12 overall and 12-6 in SoCon action and fell in overtime of the Ingles SoCon Men’s Basketball Championship title game.
 
Defending SoCon regular-season and tournament champion Chattanooga will host consecutive Saturday games on CBS Sports Network on Feb. 11 and Feb. 18. The Mocs, who went 27-8 overall and 14-4 in SoCon play in 2021-22, welcome Mercer (16-17, 8-10 SoCon) on Feb. 11 and UNCG (17-15, 9-9) the following weekend.
 
The SoCon’s CBS Sports Network slate wraps up on the final day of the regular season, Saturday, Feb. 25. The matchup for that contest will be determined 10-14 days prior to the contest.
