SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Tickets for the 2022 Southern Conference Wrestling Championship in Boone, North Carolina, on Saturday, March 5, are available for purchase.
The event will be hosted by App State for a fourth straight year and 11th time overall and will be held in the Holmes Convocation Center on App State’s campus. Campbell University claimed the 2021 title, picking up three individual titles as well as coach of the year honors for Scotti Sentes. Chattanooga’s Andrew Nicholson was named the tournament's most outstanding wrestler, while Campbell's Caleb Hopkins was named the tournament's Pinnacle Award winner.
Tickets to the all-day tournament cost $15 for adults and $10 for youth ages 6-12. Children 5 and under will be admitted for free, and college students with a valid institutional ID from a participating SoCon school can also attend for free.
The attendance policy is subject to change according to state, local and campus health guidelines.

The Holmes Center doors will open at 9 a.m. on March 5, with competition scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Championship finals are tentatively scheduled to begin at about 7 p.m., with awards presentations to follow.
A clear-bag policy will be in effect at the Holmes Center, and the SoCon Wrestling Championship will be streamed in its entirety on ESPN+.

- Face coverings are required in all indoor areas on campus, including the Holmes Center, regardless of vaccination status. If actively eating, face coverings are not required to be worn
