UTC's Wolf wraps Olympic competition

Mocs alumna was playing in her second Olympics

SAITAMA, Japan – Former Chattanooga women’s golfer Christine Wolf finished 56th Saturday at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at the 6,648-yard Kasumigaseki Country Club Golf Course in Saitama, Japan.

Wolf, who competed for the Mocs from 2007-11, finished at 13-over-par 297. She was representing her native Austria.
After opening with an even-par 71 in round one and a 1-over 72 in round two, Wolf stumbled to a 10-over 81 in Friday’s third round. She rebounded with a 2-over 73 in Saturday’s final round, birdieing the par-4 17th hole, for her final total.

Wolf was a two-time All-SoCon performer for the Mocs, helping Chattanooga to SoCon team titles in 2010 and 2011. She also competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
