CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Twenty-one Southern Conference women’s golf student-athletes were among the nearly 1,500 collegiate golfers named All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday.
 
UNCG, Chattanooga, Western Carolina and Wofford paced the SoCon with four selections each. Mercer had three and Furman had two as six of the league's nine programs boasted multiple selections.
 
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, as the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
