SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Four Southern Conference softball players earned spots on the CoSIDA Academic All-District teams, as announced by the organization Thursday.
 
UNCG infielder Jasmine Palmer, outfielder Makenna Matthijs and designated player Kayleigh Willis were District 3 selections, while Mercer outfielder Allie Jones was selected to the District 4 squad. 

 All four SoCon selections will now go to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team selections for that honor will be announced in late July.
