SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Five Southern Conference baseball players earned spots on the CoSIDA Academic All-District teams, as announced by the organization Thursday.
 
Western Carolina infielder Daniel Walsh was a District 3 selection, while The Citadel catcher Travis Lott was joined on the District 4 squad by Mercer catcher Collin Price, infielder Garett Delano and infielder RJ Yeager.
 
All five SoCon selections will now go to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team selections for that honor will be announced in late July.
