SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Ten Southern Conference football student-athletes were recognized on CoSIDA Academic All-District teams, as announced by the organization Thursday. Chattanooga paced the league with six selections.

Chattanooga quarterback Drayton Arnold, running back Ailym Ford, offensive lineman Cole Strange, linebacker Rashun Freeman, linebacker Christian Snyder and defensive back Jerrell Lawson were joined on the District 3 team by ETSU kicker Tyler Keltner.

The Citadel wide receiver Raleigh Webb, Wofford tight end Garrison Moore and Mercer defensive lineman Barron King represented the league on the District 4 team.

All 10 SoCon selections will now go to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team selections for that honor will be announced in early July.
