Greenville, S.C. – Furman’s Tommy Kay has been named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Scholar All-Region Team, it was announced on Thursday.

Kay, a business major who sports a 3.41 GPA, guided the Paladins to a 7-2-1 overall record, 5-0-1 league mark and SoCon regular season title this past season. The Ocala, Fla., native earned second team All-Southern Conference honors while helping anchor a Furman defense that surrendered just nine goals in 10 matches.

The 2021 Paladins are set to return nine starters from a squad that has won back-to-back SoCon regular season titles.
