SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The matchup for this Saturday’s Ingles Southern Conference Game of the Week has been changed to Furman at The Citadel after Wofford opted out of the remainder of its football season on Monday.
 
This Saturday’s Furman at The Citadel matchup in Charleston, South Carolina, will kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern. The contest fits the available window to replace the Wofford at Western Carolina contest, which had been slated to kick at 2 p.m.
 
Nexstar affiliates with the opportunity to air games in the football broadcast package are: ECBD (Charleston), WGHP (Greensboro/High Point), WJHL (Johnson City), WMYT (Charlotte), WWCW (Lynchburg/Roanoke) and WYCW (Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville). Although not a Nexstar station, WMUB (Macon), Mercer University Broadcasting, will also air select contests.
 
This Saturday’s game will be carried by ECBD, WMYT, WWCW and WYCW. WSPA Sports Director Pete Yanity will provide play-by-play and Todd Agne will serve as analyst for the meeting between the Paladins and Bulldogs.
 
Yanity and former Wofford All-American Jared Singleton (analyst) are the scheduled broadcast crew for the final Ingles SoCon Game of the Week of the season, the April 17 battle for the Silver Shako between The Citadel and VMI in Lexington, Virginia.
