SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Dates and times have been set for the Southern Conference Women’s Soccer semifinal matchups, taking place this weekend on the campuses of the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds.
 
Top seed Samford (7-1-3 overall, 7-0-2 SoCon), which claimed at least a share of the regular-season title for the seventh straight year, hosts No. 4 Mercer (8-9-1, 5-3-0) on Friday, April 9, at 2 p.m. CT. In the regular season, Samford beat Mercer, 2-1, on March 26 in Birmingham, Alabama.
 
No. 2 seed Furman (6-0-2, 6-0-2) will host No. 3 Chattanooga (7-2-1, 6-2-1) on Saturday, April 10, at 7 p.m. ET. Furman beat Chattanooga, 2-0, in their regular-season meeting on March 19.
 
The tournament winner earns the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship.
