Commish Chat is a series of one-on-one interviews between Southern Conference Commissioner Jim Schaus and various student-athletes, coaches, administrators, media members and more as they discuss SoCon athletics and issues that affect college athletics on a broader scale.

Schaus's guest for Episode 21 is his predecessor, former SoCon Commissioner John Iamarino.

Schaus and Iamarino, who wrote a book entitled "A Proud Athletic History: 100 Years of the Southern Conference," discuss the origins of the Southern Conference, the league's highlights over the years, including milestone wins and outstanding student-athletes and their achievements, and the benefits of the league's current membership and its institutional diversity.
