SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Chattanooga graduate student Nicole Buehrle has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from March 17-23. The selection is made by the conference office.
Buehrle led the Mocs to a first-place finish at the CAU Panther Invitational on Sunday, where she won the 800-meter run with a personal-best and SoCon-leading time of 2:15.57. She also beat out the field in the 1,500-meter run and ranks fourth the league with a time of 4:45.73.
The Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, native holds a perfect 4.0 grade point average and is earning her master’s in social work.
