SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU redshirt junior Lindsey Stallworth has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from March 10-16. The selection is made by the conference office.
Stallworth placed 38th in a field of 256 runners at the NCAA Women’s Cross Country Championship with a time of 20:58.5 to earn All-American honors on Monday afternoon at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was one of 38 runners to earn an individual bid for Monday’s championship race and she placed seventh among those runners who were not competing as part of a team.
Stallworth, who won the 2020 SoCon Women’s Cross Country Championship title in November, is the ninth female Buccaneer in ETSU cross country/track & field history and the first-ever cross country runner in program history to earn All-American honors.
The Knoxville, Tennessee, native holds a 3.5 grade point average and holds a major in academic focus with a nutrition interest.
