SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference men’s basketball game between Mercer and The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, on Wednesday, Dec. 29, has been postponed due to positive COVID tests and quarantine requirements within the Mercer program.
 
The league will attempt to reschedule the game.
 
Both teams are now scheduled to open their SoCon slates on Saturday, Jan. 1. Mercer is scheduled to host Chattanooga and The Citadel is set to visit Samford.
