INDIANAPOLIS – The Citadel volleyball team will open the 2021 NCAA Volleyball Tournament on Friday as the Bulldogs take on No. 8 Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. inside O'Keefe Gymnasium.

The winner of The Citadel-Georgia Tech match will face the winner of Western Kentucky-South Carolina Saturday at 7 p.m.

The match against the Yellow Jackets will be the second all-time meeting between the two programs. The previous meeting occurred on Aug. 29, 2015, a three-set victory for Tech.

The Citadel is 0-2 all-time against the Gamecocks and has never faced WKU.
