James Bradberry (Samford) and the New York Giants earned their first win of the season against the New Orleans Saints, 27-21, in overtime on Sunday. Bradberry had a pass breakup for the fourth straight week, made two solo tackles and caught his second interception of the season. He is now tied for third in the NFL on interceptions this year.
 
 
Younghoe Koo (Georgia Southern) is staying true and had another perfect week on special teams. The former Georgia Southern Eagle scored six points in the Falcons’ 34-30 loss to the Washington Football Team. He converted a 25-yard field goal and went 3-for-3 on extra points. He is one of only five kickers remaining this season with a perfect field-goal percentage.
 
 
Sam Martin (App State) punted a season-high 10 times, averaging 49.1 yards with two touchbacks, in the Broncos’ 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. One punt went for 68 yards, which is tied for the longest punt in the NFL this season.
  
 
 
Jaquiski Tartt (Samford) recorded two solo tackles and two assists in the San Francisco 49ers’ 28-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
 
Transactions: Buster Skrine (Chattanooga) was signed to the San Francisco 49ers in a one-year deal.
