James Bradberry (Samford) broke up a season-high two passes and made two solo tackles in the New York Giants’ 38-11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The former Bulldog now has seven passes defended on the season, which is tied for fourth in the NFL this year.
Andre Roberts (The Citadel) returned four kickoffs for a season-high 91 total yards this week in the Texans’ 31-3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Roberts, who was released by the Texans on Tuesday, is now a free agent, though it’s being reported that he will sign with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Denver Broncos’
Sam Martin (App State) punted four times averaging 41.0 yards at home in Mile High Stadium, but Martin and the Broncos fell short 34-24 to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jerick McKinnon (Georgia Southern) is seeing more opportunities with the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. This week, he had three carries for 10 yards in the team’s 31-13 win over the Washington Football Team.
Nick Williams (Samford) now has six solo tackles on the season after recording two in the Lions’ 34-11 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
