SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Eleven Southern Conference men’s lacrosse student-athletes were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Warrior and New Balance Division I Scholar All-Americans, the USILA announced recently.
 
High Point led the way for the SoCon with six selections, while Richmond had four and Mercer had one. The Panthers’ six selections tie Harvard for second-most in Division I, trailing only Duke’s seven.

In order to be named a Scholar All-American, the student-athlete must be nominated by his coach. Additionally, he must have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and be of senior standing.
