CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced its All-American Scholars on Monday, with 23 Southern Conference student-athletes earning inclusion on the list.
The criteria for election to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, as the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. A total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor.
UNCG paced the SoCon with five selections, followed by ETSU with four and Furman, Mercer and Western Carolina with three each. Chattanooga and Wofford had two selections apiece and Samford had one.
