SPARTANBURG, S.C. - ETSU right-handed pitcher has been named one of Collegiate Baseball's players of the week for his record-setting performance in a win over Wagner on Saturday, announced by the publication today. Knack was also named the SoCon Pitcher of the Week for his outing.

Knack continued to dominate opposing hitters in his lone start during the week. The senior from Johnson City, Tennessee, set a program record with 16 strikeouts in a win over Wagner on March 7. Knack allowed just five hits over six innings of work, with his 16 punchouts accounting for all but two of the 18 outs he recorded. The right-hander also showed tremendous accuracy with no walks and 73 of his 98 pitches being called strikes. After recorded double-digit strikeouts just once last season, Knack has reached the mark in all three of his starts this year and has a 1.08 ERA, 51 strikeouts, three earned runs and just one walk over 25 innings this season.

ETSU will be back on the road on Tuesday for a midweek contest at Tennessee. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
