KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced Monday its 2019-20 NABC Division I All-District teams and coaches, as selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I. Western Carolina paced the Southern Conference with two first-team selections on the District 21 team, while ETSU’s Steve Forbes was named the District 21 Coach of the Year.
 
The Catamounts’ Carlos Dotson and Mason Faulkner were joined on the first team by SoCon Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year Isaiah Miller of UNC Greensboro, as well as by ETSU’s Tray Boyd III and Furman’s Jordan Lyons.
 
The second team consisted of ETSU’s Bo Hodges, Furman’s Clay Mounce, Mercer’s Djordje Dimitrijevic, Chattanooga’s Matt Ryan and Wofford’s Nathan Hoover.
 
Forbes, the SoCon Coach of the Year, led the Bucs to a 30-4 overall record that included a 16-2 league mark. ETSU won the SoCon regular-season title before claiming the Ingles SoCon Basketball Championship presented by General Shale in Asheville, North Carolina.
