Commish Chat is a series of one-on-one interviews between Southern Conference Commissioner Jim Schaus and various student-athletes, coaches, administrators, media members and more as they discuss SoCon athletics and issues that affect college athletics on a broader scale.

Schaus's guest for Episode 8 is UNC Greensboro women's basketball player Tori Powell.

Schaus and Powell discuss the challenges she's had to face as a student-athlete dealing with the COVID pandemic, how this season is different from past years, her involvement with the SoCon Racial Equity and Justice Task Force, and what it means to her to be a student-athlete playing close to home and being a member of the Southern Conference.
