Commish Chat is a series of one-on-one interviews between Southern Conference Commissioner Jim Schaus and various student-athletes, coaches, administrators, media members and more as they discuss SoCon athletics and issues that affect college athletics on a broader scale.

Schaus's guest for Episode 10 is Dana O'Neil, senior writer at The Athletic.

Schaus and O'Neil discuss the COVID pandemic as it relates to men's college basketball, how she thinks the season will progress, the opportunities available to mid-major programs and how she views those programs this year, her perspective on the strength of the Southern Conference and the most memorable moments in her 25-plus years as a sports writer.
