Mercer's Wanzer named Impact Freshman by College Soccer News

The Bears midfielder is one of six freshman named

MACON, Ga. – Midfielder Nick Wanzer of the Mercer men’s soccer team was named to College Soccer News’ ‘Freshmen Making an Impact’ list on Thursday.

 

Wanzer has been a consistent starter in the midfield for the Bears and ranks fifth on the team with 412 minutes played as a true freshman. The Frisco, Texas, native started all five matches for Mercer in the fall, playing all 90 minutes four times.
