Commish Chat is a series of one-on-one interviews between Southern Conference Commissioner Jim Schaus and various student-athletes, coaches, administrators, media members and more as they discuss SoCon athletics and issues that affect college athletics on a broader scale.

Episode 3's guest is Wofford Director of Athletics Richard Johnson. Now in his 20th year as the Terriers' AD, Johnson was Wofford's men's basketball coach from 1985-2002 and played and coached at The Citadel.

Schaus and Johnson discuss the evolution of the SoCon over Johnson's long tenure in the league, the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of SoCon basketball and what the league has meant to Johnson.
