James Bradberry (Samford) made his third interception on the season in the Giants’ prime time 22-21 loss to the Eagles. During the second quarter, Bradberry sprinted down the field to cover Eagles wide receiver John Hightower and jumped up for the intercepted pass in the end zone. In addition to his third interception of the season, he made five solo tackles and had one pass defended in Philadelphia. His Thursday Night Football performance led him to be tied as the NFL’s leader in passes defended (11) and tied third for interceptions (3) throughout the first seven weeks of the season.
Andre Roberts (The Citadel) made a big play out of the end zone to open the second half for the Bills with a season-best 58-yard kick return. He also returned three punts for 23 yards in the Bills’ 18-10 win over the New York Jets. Roberts’ performance throughout the first seven weeks of the season has him ranked third in the league for kickoff return yards (351) and leading in punt return yards (170).
Buster Skrine made five solo tackles and two assists in the Bears’ 24-10 loss the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. Skrine’s seven total tackles is a season high for the former Chattanooga Moc.
