CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's rifle team shot its best score of the season with an aggregate total of 4,342 against Jacksonville State Sunday morning at the Inouye Marksmanship Center.
Riley Neiders led the way in both disciplines as she shot a career-high 542 in smallbore and 571 in air rifle. Her aggregate total of 1,113 established also established a new career-best.
THREE-POSITION SMALLBORE
- Neiders paced the Bulldogs by shooting an aggregate score of 542.
- The score bested her previous career-high of 541 shot against Georgia Southern on Oct. 3.
- Taylor Swiger shot her best score of the season with a 534.
- Demi Perez finished with a 521 and Emma McCorkle 516.
AIR RIFLE
- Neiders finished in eighth place with a 571.
- The score was five points higher than her career-best shot against Georgia Southern in the season opener.
- Perez shot a 558 to match her season-best set against GS on Oct. 3.
- McCorkle and Swiger continued the strong day on the range with a 552 and 548, respectively.
