KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Southern Conference men’s soccer teams and three women’s teams were among the 990 soccer teams (344 men, 646 women) that earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year. ETSU was one of 255 schools that had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.

To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player’s GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
