SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Campbell’s Andrew Morgan has been named the General Shale Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from Jan. 16-22.

The redshirt-junior is currently ranked No. 18 in the nation at 174 pounds according to Intermatwrestle.com. He defeated Appalachian State’s Thomas Flitz on a 15-4 major decision to propel Campbell to a 19-17 against the Mountaineers of Sunday. He currently leads the team with 20 wins so far.

The Bethel, North Carolina, native currently holds a 3.468 grade point average in Campbell’s Masters of Business Administration program.  

The Camels head to Charleston to face The Citadel in conference action on Sunday, Feb. 3.
