SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford’s Jack Moody and Mary Stewart Wilson have been named Southern Conference men’s and women’s cross country runners of the week, respectively, for competition that took place Sept. 19-25.

Dean, a freshman from Pawleys Island, South Carolina, placed 20th at the Asheville Invitational in Asheville, North Carolina, on Friday. He finished the 8k race with a time of 28:05.44 and was the first Terrier to cross the line.

Wilson, a junior from Charleston, South Carolina, was also the first Terrier to cross the finish line for the women’s team. She came in seventh overall at the Asheville Invitational with a time of 19:54.25 in the women’s 5k race.

The Terriers are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 29, as they are set to compete at the Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, South Carolina and the Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
