SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman forward Emery May has been named the Southern Conference men’s soccer player of the week for all competition Sept. 10-16.
The Paladins went 1-0 on the week, picking up a 2-1 win over South Carolina on Tuesday. The junior from Wichita, Kansas, netted the winning goal against the Gamecocks in the 82nd minute, marking Furman’s second goal in 46 seconds.
Furman is back in action against Clemson on Sept. 18.
